DIY Gazebo, Pergolas, Swing Set & Picnic Table
MOUSEOVER FOR BEFORE & AFTER INSTALLING PERMANENT OUTDOOR TIMBER FRAME SHADE STRUCTURES
DIY GAZEBO PLAN
Fall is the perfect time to explore ideas for beautifying your backyard, front yard, and/or side yard landscape. Planting trees and bulbs with a vision for spring is a fall must for many. When installing a timber frame arbor, pergola, gazebo, pavilion, trellises, swings, or other permanent outdoor structures the exciting reward is within a few short hours. Most often a DIY gazebo plan or DIY pergola plan from Western Timber Frame™ is designed to be pre-cut, pre-drilled, and pre-tested for a quick, easy install that can be built in as little as one afternoon. This, however, is two pergolas and a gazebo that the guys came back and finished up the next day.

Every timber frame DIY gazebo and pergola kit has been pre-assembled and tested before it is shipped out to ensure a fast and easy installation that as one client put it, "is as easy as Lincoln Logs" to put together.
This was a fabulous project to get to do. The timber frame DIY gazebo kit was the first to be installed. This was a 24' traditional octagonal timber frame pergola that features built-in kitchen cabinets, Cove style knee braces and was finished in the premium high-grade UV protective Early American stain.
The two adjoining DIY pergola kits have a roof size of 16' x 20' each and also features Cove style knee braces with the Champion style beam and rafter end profiles with the matching Early American stain finish.
The timber frame playground set features a slide, swings, and climbing board finished in the Early American stain as well as a timber picnic table. Below is the progress of four young guys who did an awesome job over a couple of work days to complete.
A rendering for clients helps to envision the project/plan better.

The best way to plan a fall beautifying of your backyard, front yard, and/or sideyard landscape is to talk with a Design Manager from Western Timber Frame™. When I was viewing the plans for my own timber frame pergola the Design Manager was able to show me a 3D rendering and help me to see exactly what it would look like as well as how the shadows would move across my backyard. With this information, I completely changed where I wanted my pergola to go. If you are interested in a DIY backyard home improvement project, Western Timber Frame™ does all the hard work for you so you can have a lot of fun putting it together.

Do you have plans for the swing set playground?
Thank you,
I do freelancing for Western to make sure questions do not go unnoticed. Out of respect that the holidays are usually times that families want to spend with their family, Western closes from Christmas through New Years. If you call them at 801-331-6690 —after that time frame— they can answer you in regards to plans. When asking, it is the Sybrowsky swing set. That much I do know. Thank you, for asking, Alex.
