Sweet Surprise on Massive Pergola
As grand as this massive DIY pergola plan is, installing this backyard haven was also incredibly fast and easy. Each timber frame pergola piece was pre-cut, pre-tested and assembled for a fast and easy installation before it ever left the shop.
The Roof size of this 12000 Series ShadeScape™ is 46′ 3″ x 20′ 5 1/2″. The pergola has 4×8 Cove Style knee braces, 2×6 Shade Planks, 6×12 Champion style profiles on the beam and rafter ends and is finished in the warm and welcoming Early American, UV protective stain. It also features the Phoenix TimberVolt™ power post.
On this particular Timber, ShadeScape™ shelter kit was a stunning and sweet surprise. Each of the eight supporting posts tapers from a perfect 12-inch by 12-inch square post into an eight-sided post, curving back into a four-sided post at the bottom roof beam.
