2 Alpine Timber Frame Pavilions with Inferno Outdoor Power
Designing for power can accommodate any and all of your electrical and lighting needs.
Top view of a timber post in process of being drilled for outdoor power. The heavy hollow core drill has to be drilled and drawn out between 20 to 40 times to keep the drill bit from becoming lodged inside the post. However, on longer posts, or when knots are encountered, it can easily surpass 100 separate drill strokes to complete the process.
Alpine Oversize Pavilion Kits Featuring TimberVolt™ Inferno Power Posts
In beautiful Alpine, Utah we installed two Oversize timber frame pavilion kits featuring Western Timber Frame™ TimberVolt™ Inferno outdoor power posts. Many people are fascinated by the TimberVolt™ electrical post and are intrigued as to how we drill a hole through the entire length of such a long post. The actual process is pretty fascinating and requires a great deal of skill from an experienced timber wright craftsman and requires highly specialized proprietary equipment to "drill a hole" through the entire length of a heavy timber post. Check out the TimberVolt™ outdoor power posts and then these two Oversize timber frame pavilions:
TimberVolt™ Inferno outdoor power post with dual light switch, electrical receptacle with USB & GFCI electrical receptacle.
Western Timber Frame™ TimberVolt™ Inferno outdoor power post double switch receptical (one for lights and one for fan).
Western Timber Frame™ outdoor power Inferno TimberVolt™ featuring one GFI plug with weather cover and one lower plug just above the GFI plug with two USB plugs.
Western Timber Frame™ outdoor wood arbors, gazebos, pavilions and pergolas can be pre-drilled with a hole down the center of one post to accommodate any and all of your outdoor power electrical and lighting needs. The Timbervolt™ series has an electrical chase drilled from one-half to the entire length of the post to hide and protect all wiring. The recessed boxes feature weatherproof outdoor covers for plugs and switches that are seamlessly incorporated into the actual timber post itself.
The Western Timber Frame™ TimberVolt™ Inferno model features:
1. Recessed male plug with an upgraded weather cover
2. One GFI plug for your protection with an upgraded weather cover
3. One lower plug just above the GFI plug with two USB plugs in it
4. One double switch (one for lights and one for fan) with upgraded weather cover half way up the post.
5. One upper TV plug with two USB plugs and upgraded weather cover.
6. One separated plug on top of the post – one for lights and one for fan. Both are on the double switch and have an upgraded weather cover.

I'm looking to put roofs on two towers we have erected with dimensions of 14' x 14' framed by 4 telephone posts. The posts about about 12" in diameter at the top. I'd like to use metal for the roofing material with everything exposed underneath, including the metal. I'd like the roof structure to be either hipped or gabled, depending on whichever is less cost, with timber frame rather than round posts used for the framing.
Thanks,
Derek
