First, I would like to add, that most our kits are considered “custom” but we still follow a standardized method for design. This is just one of the many ways we work for you to create a handcrafted pergola, or pavilion, featuring our patent-pending dovetail construction.

We then attach some temporary 2 x 4’s attached to the upper beam and we have it all lined up as in this example pictured right.
On the test pictured above, this pergola kit didn’t give until it hit over 11,000 lbs.!!! Pound them down nice and tight just so they are flush with the top.
