When it was first incorporated the Boy Scouts of America stated its purpose as to teach boys patriotism, self-reliance, courage and kindred values. This project is located on a mountain hillside where they can experience strong winds at times. This is one of the reasons for a Western Timber Frame® structure which are designed with 120+ mph wind ratings.
Design Manager Jason Warner sent us these pictures of a 14′ x 20′ freestanding Douglas-fir pavilion from the homeowners who just finished installing it in their backyard. It gives you excellent access for lights, fans and other accessories at the roof.
